I am so looking forward to our collaboration. This appointment is a foundational step in creating the perfect, architectural fit for your dress. To ensure our time together is productive, seamless, and completely focused on you, please review the essential preparation details below.


CRITICAL HEALTH & SAFETY NOTICE

This is the most important note on this page. I have a VERY SEVERE allergy to cat hair that can cause my throat to close, making it difficult to breathe. As I spend the majority of my time in the studio, it must remain a completely safe environment.

  • It is IMPERATIVE that you ensure your dress and all personal clothing brought into the studio are COMPLETELY FREE of cat hair.
  • I sincerely appreciate your diligence and understanding in this critical matter of health and safety.


Your Essential Fitting Checklist: A Partnership for Perfection

  1. Scheduling Window:
  2. As we discussed, your fitting should be scheduled at least 4 weeks before your event date.
  3. Your Trusted Advisors:
  4. My studio is an intimate space designed for the focused, intricate work required for a perfect fit. To ensure the attention remains entirely on you and your dress, you are welcome to bring up to two trusted guests to share in the experience.
  5. Your Foundational Garments:
  6. You MUST bring the EXACT bra and any shapewear you will be wearing for your event. These foundational garments are non-negotiable and the most critical part of your preparation, as they affect every single part of the dress. We cannot proceed without them.
  7. Your Shoes for the Event:
  8. You MUST bring the EXACT shoes you will be wearing to determine the perfect hemline. If your final shoes have not yet arrived, you may bring a substitute pair that has the EXACT same heel height.
  9. The Financial Investment:
  10. At the conclusion of your fitting, a 50% non-refundable deposit of the total alteration cost is required to begin the work. You are, of course, welcome to pay the balance in full at this time if you prefer.
  11. Accepted Forms: Credit/Debit Card, Venmo, CashApp, and Cash.
  12. Complimentary Dress Pressing:
  13. Professional pressing and steaming of your dress is included with your alteration service.
